Product family Optical fiber
Optical fiber: G.652.D, G.657 and multimode
ZeroLine Connect supplies bare optical fiber from Optics Valley’s fiber makers to cable plants and assemblers: G.652.D single-mode, bend-insensitive G.657.A1, A2 and B3, and OM3, OM4 and OM5 multimode. Fiber ships on reels with the maker’s datasheet and test data for every reel, under spot orders or long-term supply agreements.

Terms
Ordering, testing and delivery
Typical terms. Your offer states the exact terms for your order.
- Minimum order
-
One drum of cable, one reel of fiber or one carton of passive components. Mixed BOMs are welcome. Samples for evaluation typically ship in 1–3 weeks.
- Lead time
-
Stock items 5–10 working days. Made-to-order cable typically 2–4 weeks. Large framework lots ship on the agreed rollout schedule. Fiber prices moved sharply in 2026, so every cable offer states how long its price holds next to the lead time.
Fiber and cable prices in 2026 - Test reports
-
OTDR data for every drum of cable, insertion and return loss for every connectorised assembly, loss and uniformity reports for splitters, and our pre-shipment inspection report. Third-party pre-shipment inspection on request, at the buyer’s cost.
- Labelling and packing
-
Drum and carton labels to your scheme: project, lot, route or rack. Export cartons, and wooden or plywood drums for cable.
- Payment
-
T/T with 30% deposit and 70% before shipment, or L/C at sight. Rollouts can run under a framework agreement with staged lots.
Payment terms and trade finance - Delivery
-
FOB Wuhan or Shanghai, CIF to your port, or door delivery where available. Goods from other ZeroLine lines ship in the same consignment when that saves freight.

FAQ
Optical fiber: questions buyers ask
G.652.D or G.657.A1 for outdoor cable?
G.652.D is the default for backbone and duct cable. G.657.A1 is compatible with it and tolerates tighter bends, so many plants now use it across the range at little extra cost. Use A2 or B3 where fiber is bent tightly, such as drops and indoor routes.
What is 200 µm fiber for?
Reduced-diameter coating lets a plant put more fibers in a smaller tube, for high-count and air-blown micro-cable. Optical performance is the same as 250 µm fiber.
Can you supply fiber under a long-term agreement?
Yes. Cable plants usually agree monthly volumes and a pricing method for the year, with deliveries scheduled to production. This is how most of our cable-plant customers buy.
